Twitter melts down in praise of #Beychella

Beyoncé brought down the house at Coachella Saturday night with a little help from her friends — and Twitter has never been so grateful.

The singer — whose set marked the first time a black woman has headlined the California festival — was a trending topic almost immediately, sparking hundreds of thousands of tweets declaring the festival #Beychella.

Whether it was the surprise Destiny’s Child reunion, the joyous dance routine she performed with sister Solange or a cameo from husband JAY-Z, everyone seemed to have a favorite part of Beyoncé’s set.

Other fans, famous faces included, looked to former First Lady Michelle Obama to better convey their reaction to the impressive gig, while more embraced the opportunity to meme the occasion.

Though it’s hard to believe, there actually were other Coachella performances Saturday.

Fresh off releasing his new EP “My Dear Melancholy,” The Weeknd performed an emotional set featuring many of the tracks fans are convinced were written about his Selena Gomez split.

But who needs a recording contract to get the Coachella crowd going?

11-year-old Mason Ramsey, better known as the Walmart Yodeling Boy, also hit the desert stage to sing Hank Williams’ “Lovesick Blues,” the tune that brought him viral fame.

His set proved inspirational for many — and he even found a fan in Justin Bieber.
